Late Registration:

We offer rolling admission so you can start even after the session as begun. If you are registering late or have questions about registration, please email us at alex@rebelartschool.com

Makeup Class Policies:

If you or your child is sick or unable to attend a class, please call or email the studio to notify us of your absence. Make-up classes must be scheduled and taken prior to the end of the current session. There is a maximum of two make-ups per session. To schedule a make-up class, please email info@rebelartschool.com

Prorate Policies:

If you are registering for a class after the start of the session the registration fee will be automatically prorated for previously missed classes. Once a session has begun the website reflects the current remaining classes in a session with the pro-rated fees. We do not prorate for future classes that will be missed after a student has begun classes in a given session.

Refund/Credit Policies:

All refunds or credits must be approved by the Rebel Art School Director. Refunds will not be given for missed classes. If a class does not receive the minimum registration of two students, and you have already paid the registration fee, you may choose to receive a full refund or credit for a class in the future.

In the event that a class is canceled by Rebel Art School you may choose to schedule a make-up class, or receive a refund or credit. Rebel Art School does not refund classes attended. If you or your child are not completely satisfied with the experience provided by Rebel Art School we will gladly provide a refund for any remaining upcoming classes in a session, camp, or workshop.

If you or your child need to reschedule a class registration due to unforeseen circumstances or scheduling conflicts we are happy to switch to another available class time. If you signed up for a class and need to cancel for any reason we can give you a full refund (minus the transaction fee) if we're able to fill your spot. If the cancellation is more than two weeks before the start date of the camp and we are unable to fill your spot, we can give you a 50% credit for a future class or camp. If the cancellation occurs less than two weeks before the start date of the class and we are unable to fill your spot, we are unable to give a refund.

If you signed up for a camp and need to cancel for any reason we can give you a full refund (minus the transaction fee) if we're able to fill your spot. If the cancellation is more than two weeks before the start date of the camp and we are unable to fill your spot, we issue a 50% credit for a future class or camp. If the cancellation occurs less than two weeks before the start date of the camp and we are unable to fill your spot, we are unable to give a refund.

In the event that you need to cancel a party reservation, please note that our deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations requested prior to two weeks to party date are eligible for 50% refund. Cancellation requests within two weeks prior to the party date will not be refunded.

Early Drop-off / Late Pick-up Policy:

Please be considerate of our teachers and other classes time. Dropping off early can be distracting for other classes, as well as for teachers that are preparing for the next class. You are welcome to stay with your child until class begins, otherwise we do charge $5 for every 15 minutes of early drop-off.

Picking your child up more than 15 minutes past the end of class time is considered a late pickup. Late pickups will be charged $15 per 15 minutes. Fees are calculated from the end of class time, not from 10 minutes after the end of class.

Late Payment Policy:

If payment is not received by end of the second class of a session, a late fee of $25 will be charged. **unless other arrangements have been made**

Media Release:

Registration for classes, camps, or workshops grants permission for Rebel Art School to use any pictures or video recordings taken during classes for marketing and or promotional purposes for the art programs. If you do not wish to have photos or videos taken of you or child you must notify us upon registration.

Health Disclaimer:

Rebel Art School adheres to the OEHHA list of toxic or prohibited art materials in California with the exception of clay materials. The silicates in clay are considered harmful with extended use. The usage at Rebel Art School is considered minimal. However, if you do not wish for your child to participate in clay classes you may opt for your child to work on a drawing instead.

Please also note that drawing mediums such as soft pastels and charcoals create dust. If you, or your child, may be susceptible to respiratory conditions please notify the instructor and s/he will provide a mask to wear, or you may choose to provide your own mask.

For oil painting adult workshops, please refer to the approved list of materials as we do not allow several toxic solvents unless previously arranged. Rebel Art School strives to maintain a safe environment for both instructors and students, and takes care to create age appropriate projects, as well as training to utilize tools and materials appropriately.
