WITH RICHELLE SOPER
Workshop Title:
Creative Ceramic Platter Making: Surface Techniques & Glazing
Duration:
1 Day (Approx. 3.5 hours)
Overview:
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the art of creating their own ceramic platter, exploring a variety of surface decoration techniques to bring their designs to life. Using transfers, sgraffito, and wax resist, you will add texture, pattern and personalize your pieces. After shaping and decorating your platter, it will undergo bisque firing, followed by a second glaze firing where it will be dipped in a clear food safe clear glaze. Your work will be ready for pick-up in 2-3 weeks.
